Scheme Benefits and Highlights
Units established under EHTP Scheme may carry out the following activities:
Manufacture any item of electronic hardware for exports.
Manufacture of both hardware and software in an integrated manner for exports.
Right To Information
The Parliament has enacted the Act known as the Right to Information Act, 2005 which came into force on 15.6.2005 which extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu & Kashmir. The Parliament has enacted the said act in order to promote the transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority. The entire Act is available on the website http://www.persmin.nic.in. On and from 12.10.2005, the general public can avail the provisions of the Act to have the information in the control of public authority.

STPI launches second edition of Neuron's Open Challenge Programme
More than 400 participants attended the virtual launch of the second edition of Open Challenge Programme of Neuron- Centre of Excellence (CoE) organised by Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Mohali, an organisation under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). TiE Chandigarh was entrusted to run and coordinate this programme.
The Second Open Challenge Programme aimed at bringing the aspiring entrepreneurs across the region and India on a common platform to solve real-life problems related to specific domains using AI, data analytic & IoT. The preferred domains are education, agriculture, healthcare, smart cities, electric mobility. TiE Chandigarh has been entrusted to run and coordinate this programme.

Tirupati Incubation Service
STPI- Tirupati incubation facility of 8994 Sq. Ft with state of art plug–n-Play infrastructure was started in March 2009 and till date 21Nos IT/ITES startup/SME companies availed this facility.
STPI-Tirupati Centre incubation facility is located by close proximity to the city, it is convenient to Incubation units/employees to reach the office at any time. The Incubation facility has Work Stations, Cubicles, Manager Cabins, Discussion Rooms, Conference hall fully air conditioned and this facility has Internet connectivity from multiple upstream providers, which provides reliability & redundancy in service with Network Operations Center operating 24/7 technical staff to help the incubation customers. The facility has UPS power with DG set, it assures continuous power supply without interruption and also has 24X7 Security system & Parking facility.
