Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India has been set up with distinct focus to boost up Software export from the country.
STPI-Patna was set up in 2007 to cater to the needs of Bihar, and Jharkhand. Today, STPI-Patna has operational centres at Patna, Ranchi, and Deoghar. Over the years, STPI-Patna has played a seminal role to promote IT/ITeS exports from the region by boosting tech entrepreneurship and creating employment opportunities for the local youth.
