STPI Bengaluru has always been the most significant centre of STPI by virtue of its significant contribution to the IT-ITeSindustry in the country which has enabled Bengaluru to emerge as the Silicon Valley of India. STPI Bengaluru has 4 sub-centres under its umbrella located in Karnataka viz., at Mysuru, Hubballi, Mangaluru and Manipal. The STPI centre at Davanagere is the 5th sub-centre of STPI in Karnataka.
